Maggie Mae picked us out at the Pet store in October. She was so small and looked so lost. I couldn't help staring at her. I had spent the three weeks prior to our visit trying to convince my hubby that our lives would not be complete without a dog. As usual he was adamant that we did not need a dog. It was three weeks later that we found ourselves in the pet store looking at the pups. I asked for the little hairy one to be brought out so we could play with her in the little booths they furnish to make sure that you have sufficient time to grow attached to the little darling and don't leave without taking one with you. Maggie was so playful. I would throw the ball, she would get it and drop it at my feet and then sit on my toes until I threw it again. I was hooked. About 2 hours and several hundred dollars later we left with the little one in tow.
